I also cover everything about tomato seeds, planting, pest infection, fertilizer, organic fertilizer, harvesting, and delicious tomato recipes. There are some interesting newer tomatoes on my listing again this year, not all heirlooms, but all open pollinated, allowing you to save seeds and have the resulting fruits grow "true to type." They are all fabulous, spectacular in taste and appearance. Tomato HQ is the ultimate source for homegrown Tomato. PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST EITHER SEND AN EMAIL TO PLACE YOUR ORDER, ACCOMPANIED BY AN ETRANSFER, OR PRINT THE FORM AND MAIL WITH A CHEQUE. As soon as I figure it out, I'll update my website. Please check my “Tree and Twig” Facebook page or Instagram for pictures of some of these wonderful tomatoes. As my preamble states, I am unsure right now if I will be holding my big blowout Victoria day long weekend sale or selling by appointments. Remember.I grow hundreds more varieties than are on this list. People always ask me “what is your favourite tomato?” Well….this is them. Every year I try lots of new ones and there are some very special ones I’d like to share with you from my trials last year. This listing contains some amazing varieties, some more common heirlooms, some little known, and some of the interesting new open pollinated varieties. This year again I am growing thousands of tomato seedlings and hundreds of varieties. Many of my endangered varieties are available when I sell my seedlings and seeds. Please, if you can, save seed and share seed. There is such amazing diversity in tomatoes. So much effort has gone into bringing older varieties into the spotlight and tomato breeders are working like crazy to bring us the very interesting striped, crazy coloured and interesting shaped “artisan” open pollinated tomatoes. Now is a particularly great time to be a tomato lover. And when the appointments are for only a few people, I can give you my full attention and answer any questions you may have. My greenhouses are small and it would be difficult to have too many people in them at a time. Why appointments? It seems people want to get their plants early, and I can't put my plants outside until there is no risk of frost. When the weather improves, I'll pull all my remaining plants out of the greenhouses and you can just pop by to make your purchases. I'll help you make your choices of tomatoes, and everything else I grow. Just set up an appointment with me, in the time frame noted above. If you have not placed a preorder, that's no problem. If you would like to purchase other plants I grow, we'll set up an appointment from May 6th on, 10-5 pm daily, 1/2 hour appointments. If you are only picking up a tomato preorder, just let me know the date and I'll have them ready to go. You can arrange to pick up your preorder anytime from May 6th on. Tomato seedlings only can be be ordered in advance until April 1st.
